Introduction




My Mission is to provide a nurturing environment for children 5 – 12 years old to create their own imaginary creations. Here is a way to encourage children to be creative, to learn that whatever they can dream up to draw and/or color is wonderful, even if, and especially if, it doesn’t look like anything anyone else has ever seen or thought of before. As an art teacher, I would never presume to force my imaginary creations onto any child without allowing them to walk out onto my springboard, look around, create a plan, and then jump off and fly. They can complete the stories using their own vivid imaginations without fear of criticism.
